Axcess Payment Services has sponsored new football kits for two Under 15 boys’ teams at Horbury Town Juniors Football Club, supporting grassroots sport and helping young players take to the pitch with pride.

The sponsorship has provided 32 Axcess Payment Services-branded kits for the teams, which are based at Slazengers Sports Fields in Horbury, West Yorkshire. Players will wear them throughout the upcoming season and on their football tour to Spain next year, where they will play two competitive fixtures against local opposition.

Mark Hammond, Merchant Support Manager at Axcess Payment Services, a payments technology and acquiring specialist which serves merchants across the UK and Europe, recently visited the club to meet the players and coaches and see the new kits in action.

Supporting communities

Mark said: “At Axcess Payment Services, we’re passionate about supporting the communities where we live and work. Grassroots sport plays such an important role in helping young people build confidence, develop teamwork skills and stay active. We’re delighted to support Horbury Town Juniors and wish both teams every success for the season ahead, especially on their upcoming tour to Spain. We look forward to following their progress and celebrating their achievements.”

Martin Grayston, Lead Coach for Horbury Town Juniors’ Under 15 boys, welcomed the sponsorship and the opportunities it will help create.

Incredibly grateful

Martin said: “We’re incredibly grateful to Axcess Payment Services for their generous support. Sponsorships like this make a real difference to grassroots football, helping us provide opportunities and experiences that our players will remember for years to come. The new kits look fantastic and will give the boys a real sense of pride as they represent the club both locally and during our tour to Spain. It’s great to see a local business investing in young people and supporting the wider community.”

The sponsorship reflects Axcess Payment Services’ ongoing commitment to local initiatives that help young people build confidence, make connections and develop skills through sport.
